About Busoga Health Forum

Who We Are

Busoga Health Forum (BHF) is a not-for-profit, voluntary, membership-based association headquartered in Jinja City, bringing together professionals and partners to strengthen health and livelihoods in Busoga through people-centered solutions.

Overview

Busoga has strong natural advantages, including access to lake and river systems, fertile soils, and strategic transport connections, yet the region continues to face some of the weakest socio-economic indicators despite long periods of stability. BHF exists to convene stakeholders and accelerate coordinated action that improves health outcomes and supports thriving communities.

Human-centered strategy

We design interventions around real community needs, and what works in local systems.

Convene and coordinate

We bring together government, partners, and communities to align efforts and reduce duplication.

Measurable impact

We prioritize results that can be scaled, sustained, and adapted across settings.
